You Don’t Know Jack!
…yet.
I’m a Technical Writer. I transform complex ideas into clear, accessible, and engaging content. My passion lies in bridging the gap between technical experts and end users—turning intricate systems, products, and processes into documentation that informs, empowers, and inspires confidence.
With a background in logistics and government, I bring both technical understanding and a strong sense of storytelling to every project. Whether I’m crafting user guides, API documentation, quick start tutorials, or knowledge base articles, my goal is always the same: to make information intuitive, accurate, and easy to use. I thrive in collaborative environments where writers, developers, and designers work together to create seamless user experiences. I’m also comfortable owning documentation projects from start to finish: researching, writing, editing, and managing content for diverse audiences and platforms.
If you’re looking for someone who values clarity, consistency, and a user-first mindset, I’d love to connect.

…but why?…
I live in Denton, Texas with the love of my life and a three-year-old gremlin (I mean daughter), who keeps life joyful and full of surprises.
After leaving school in 2012 and exploring the marvelous world of logistics, I made the decision to return to higher education and recently completed my B.S. in Professional and Technical Communication at the University of North Texas. I’m now continuing that journey by pursuing my M.A. in Technical Writing from the same institution.
Balancing family life, studies, and professional growth has taught me patience, perseverance, and the value of clear communication—both at home and in my work. When I’m not writing or studying, you’ll usually find me spending time outdoors with my family, lifting weights, reading comic books, or building a litany of wooden junk that will inevitably clutter my garage.

So… what now?
As I continue my M.A. in Technical Writing, my next goal is to expand my professional experience by contributing to organizations that value clarity, precision, and user-centered design. I’m particularly interested in roles that allow me to collaborate with developers, engineers, and designers to create documentation that enhances both understanding and usability.
Beyond academics, I’m focused on building a long-term career where I can grow as both a writer and a communicator—taking on more complex projects, mentoring others, and exploring emerging tools and technologies that shape how people interact with information.
In my personal life, my aim is to keep learning, keep creating, and keep showing my daughter what it means to pursue your goals with dedication and curiosity.
